The Pierre girls track team has several outstanding individuals with top marks in the Class AA ranks. 

Pierre senior Reese Terwilliger won the Class AA state shot put title last spring. Heading into the Howard Wood Dakota Relays, Terwilliger has the top throw in South Dakota (43-02) with Harrisburg’s Grace Steffen (42-11.25) and Aberdeen Central’s Taryn Hermansen (41-11.25) just behind. 

Terwilliger also competes in the discus. Her best throw of (113-0.5) is the No. 8 Class AA throw this season.
